If you want to learn about Astrophotography, giving Alyn Wallace a follow is a great place to start.
The good news is that he’s doing a whole load more than posting to Instagram these days. His YouTube channel is becoming a great place to learn about shooting the night sky, and this week he released his first gear review. Alyn reckons the Sigma 14mm f/1.8 Art lens could well be the first lens produced specifically for shooting astro shots. We’re definitely leave it up to him to explain why, you’ll find his video review below.
Alyn ventured out into the Elan Valley in Mid Wales to give the lens a road test in some stunning Welsh scenery.
If you’re looking to get into Astrophotography, Wales is a great place to turn it into a hobby. The Brecon Beacons is an International Dark Sky Reserve, an accolade only granted to a handful of locations worldwide, making it one of the best places in the world to explore the night sky.
If you’d like to give Astrophotography a try, Alan offers workshops across the Brecon Beacons.
